Audra Mehl grew up on a farm near Sykeston, North Dakota, and is a farm girl at heart to this day. She is a Fargo based interior decorator, blogger, writer, designer and owner of Grace 1972 Design specializing in the modern farmhouse aesthetic.
She holds a degree in English from MSUM and is the Midwest Senior Client Executive for Linium, a New York based technology consulting company. She is co-owner of On Point Construction with her husband, Matthew Mehl, who specializes in high design finishes, remodels and quality craftsmanship.
Matthew and Audra routinely collaborate on design for their clients as well as for their own home improvement projects. They have flipped three houses together to date and are currently living in and remodeling their fourth.
Audra is passionate about nurturing her own creative passions, and encourages others to carve out the time to do the same. As a lover of music, she can also be found many Sundays as a soloist and cantor at Nativity Catholic Church.
She is most proud of the three young women her daughters have grown up to be. The four of them can often be found perusing the aisles of local thrift stores and antique shops together, nurturing a love of vintage and good deals to make their own cozy corners of the world homey and welcoming for family and friends.
Audra will be collaborating with Gathered Rentals and Events Boutique as well as Floret + Foliage to decorate this home. She will also be sourcing a number of her decor items from Burlap Rustic Chic Boutique.
